TSS occupies number 1 berth of Chatham Docks. The docks themselves are situated in one of three basins of the former naval dockyard. There is a minimum depth of 8 metres in the basin, for vessels upto 143 metre long and 25 metres wide.

From this location TSS can provide easy access to the rail network and dual carriages to the M2 and A2
